Morris Missry is the Managing Partner of Wachtel Missry and the Chair of its Real Estate Department. Long considered one of the most creative and knowledgeable attorneys in New York, Morris has been representing clients in real estate and corporate matters globally for the past three decades, acting as outside general counsel for a wide variety of prestigious individuals and privately held companies. Morris has worked closely with developers, owners, REITs, pension funds, private equity funds, investors, family-owned real estate businesses and high net-worth individuals in all aspects of domestic and international commercial real estate and corporate transactions, including multifaceted property acquisitions, dispositions, CMBS, mezzanine, preferred equity and other debt transactions, joint ventures, loan workouts and debt restructuring, hotel and food & beverage management agreements, as well as retail, office and industrial leasing, mergers & acquisitions, asset, stock purchase and trademark licensing agreements.
