Jose Carlos Mota Vergueiro Bio

Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-SP), in 1977, with specializations in Business Law from PUC/SP, in 1978, and Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBTD), in 1982. He was Professor of Civil Procedural Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1978-1984), President of the Tax Affairs Committee of the Brazilian Association of International Banks (ABBI), for two terms. He has accumulated over 25 years of professional experience in the Legal and Tax Departments of large multinational companies in the automotive and chemical sectors, as well as foreign banks, having in recent years served as Tax Director, a position he combined with that of Regional Tax Counsel for South America.
