Hugo is a highly experienced specialist in corporate law; focusing, in particular, on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, private equity and strategic joint ventures. Various international independent studies recommend Hugo as an expert on corporate/M&A and private equity. Committed. Inspirational. Nationally and internationally recognised and acclaimed. Driven. Hugo served two terms as chair of Van Doorne’s board and holds various ancillary positions at both listed and non-listed companies and institutions. He has a large network and, as a lawyer, he combines extensive management and board experience with knowledge of and experience in strategy, finance, IT and employee participation. In January 2018, he was appointed chair of Tilburg University’s Foundation Board. Hugo lectures on company law, corporate governance and boardroom dynamics.
