Maurits was admitted to the bar in 1994. He is a corporate and regulatory lawyer with a practice focusing on investment funds and related transactions. He has wide experience with establishment, restructuring of and investments in funds investing in all asset classes – including private equity, direct lending, real estate and liquid securities (hedge funds). Maurits is deeply involved in the industry discussion of investment fund regulatory developments and in particular the EU AIFM Directive.
