Benoit Kelecom has worked 7 years in the asset management department of Allen & Overy in Luxembourg and in London, where he had been seconded in 2016. He has set up and managed the funds team of a Luxembourg advisory firm as from 2017 prior to joining Van Campen Liem in August 2019. Benoit advises both GPs and LPs in the structuring and ongoing operations of alternative investment funds with a particular focus on real estate, infrastructure, funds of funds, distressed and private equity. Benoit has significant experience in the establishment of, and advice to, management companies and AIFMs in Luxembourg. Benoit has also gained a solid expertise in regulatory matters affecting the operations of asset managers such as Brexit, AIFMD cross-border distribution, AML, structuring of deal flows and corporate governance.
