Fernando Calbacho Bio

Fernando Calbacho joined Uria Menéndez in 1999. Before joining the firm, Fernando was in-house counsel for various industrial corporations. He was the head of the legal department of Fertiberia, legal manager of Repsol and general counsel of Agromán, a leading Spanish construction company. From September 2002 until July 2005, he was the partner in charge of Uria Menéndez’s New York office. Fernando focuses his practice on corporate law and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and debt restructuring transactions. Taking advantage of the experience he acquired in the real estate sector, he has also advised on a significant number of real estate transactions and construction projects.
