Ciprian Dragomir has assisted major clients in complex mergers and acquisitions/privatization projects, as well as in the drafting and implementation of restructuring strategies for the non ferrous mining/mineral resources industry. He has represented multi-national companies from a variety of industries such as automotive, steel, oil and gas, maritime in connection with their investments in Romania and is highly skilled in co-ordinating private takeovers on the stock exchange market. His expertise in relation to capital market operation includes assistance to the main regulatory authorities, i.e. the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the Central Depository (sole local depository, clearing and settlement system serving the Bucharest Stock Exchange) on all legal matters regarding their activities (capital markets, IP, corporate, competition, etc.). A further focus of his practice concerns legal advice on a broad range of environmental law issues, including brownfield development and contaminated land liability, waste management, licensing and permitting, environmental impact assessment, greenfield development. Ciprian Dragomir is also a certified intellectual property counselor for trademarks, coordinating the firm's intellectual property practice group and advising clients on all aspects related to the registration, protection, licensing and transfer of patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs and software. He is a member of INTA (the International Trademark Association), the World Customs Organisation (WCO), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and Multilaw. Other areas of practice cover healthcare and pharmaceutical law, gaming and personal data protection. Ciprian Dragomir is also a certified insolvency practitioner and an associate in TZA INSOLVENȚĂ S.P.R.L., a separate specialist insolvency unit. He is fluent in English.
