Nicholas Levy Bio

Nicholas Levy has worked as a real estate litigator for over 20 years, having initially qualified as a barrister. He has been a partner at Trowers & Hamlins since 2007. Nick specialises in advising on and handling disputes in relation to the acquisition, development, management and disposal of real estate, including rights to light and other development related real estate issues, all elements of landlord and tenant law, property finance, property related insolvency (with a specialism in the insolvency of registered providers) and property related professional negligence. He acts for a range of clients, from developers and indemnity insurers to institutional and individual property investors. As with all real estate dispute lawyers at Trowers, Nick also works closely with his transactional colleagues, trouble-shooting potential deal obstacles and helping to facilitate deal closure. Solutions driven and direct, Nick takes a constructive, pragmatic approach. Nick regularly gives seminars in his areas of expertise, and sits on the Insolvency Committee of the British Property Federation.
