Georgina Savill-James specialises in all areas of residential property including development acquisition, portfolio acquisition work and large scale disposal programmes. She qualified as a lawyer in 2000 having previously worked in the voluntary and statutory sectors providing specialist legal advice to tenants, leaseholders and having been a duty adviser at Central London County Court for those unrepresented at court proceedings. Georgina's early career shaped her interest in becoming a lawyer working in the residential property sector, to help build communities and homes of real value. She works with housebuilder clients; real estate companies who manage large residential portfolios, housing associations, local authorities, health and social care providers, voluntary sector entities and private individuals. She has been involved in a number of joint venture structures, regeneration projects and LSVT projects. She deals with auction disposal and purchases both tenanted and untenanted and is experienced in all aspects of development from site assembly, acquisition and disposal of units. Georgina works closely with clients to understand their key drivers and offers pragmatic advice tailored to that transaction. Georgina oversees the south west residential practice in the firms Private Wealth department and works with her team to ensure that a cost effective and bespoke conveyancing service is delivered to its clients.
