Tejas Adiga is a Partner, based out of Trilegal’s Mumbai office, and a part of the Corporate practice group. Tejas’ practice area covers cross-border and domestic merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, spinoffs and divestitures of business divisions, and corporate restructuring. Tejas has had extensive experience representing an array of clients, including international conglomerates, Indian companies, private equity firms, financial sponsors and governmental institutions. He has advised on a wide range of corporate transactions and matters, particularly in the oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, automobiles, pharmaceutical and financial services sectors. Tejas also advises companies and shareholders on corporate governance matters such as contentious shareholder disputes, directors’ duties and liability, and shareholder activism. Some of his key clients are Rosneft Oil Company OJSC, British Petroleum, Fosun Group, Weichai Power Company, Shandong Heavy Industries, Orix Group, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Public Sector Pension Investment Board, Asian Development Bank, Glenmark Pharmaceutical Ltd, Azelis S.A., Nayara Energy Ltd, SBI Funds Management and ICICI Bank.
