Sumi is a Partner in Trilegal’s Corporate practice. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital. She has worked on various share and asset acquisitions, joint venture transactions, as well as debt and public issuances. She regularly advises on compliance issues, corporate governance matters and contentious shareholders’ disputes. Sumi’s experience spans real estate, fintech, e-commerce, defence, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and renewables sectors. Previously she has worked as part of a legal team in a leading telecom company in India and has a deep understanding of the business. She also has significant experience in data centre and emerging technologies space.
