Richard Mansi is a corporate, funds and banking specialist with over 20 years of legal and banking experience. He has advised on the launch of over 100 hedge and private equity funds, and has represented leading funds, managers, lenders, derivative parties, distributors, investors and service providers on the full range of fund activity. Richard has advised many investment banks on their fund linked businesses. Richard also has wide general, finance, credit and work out experience. Richard is listed as one of the world’s leading Private Funds Lawyers by Who’s Who Legal and Legal 500 has noted that he “thinks through every last detail”. Chambers Global notes that he “earns plaudits for his long-standing funds experience, and is described as “highly effective and responsive – a go-to person for complicated issues””. Richard was formerly the partner in charge of Maples and Calder’s funds and fund linked products practice in London and prior to that worked for Linklaters London. Richard has substantial industry experience, having most recently worked as a director in Deutsche Bank’s fund linked structuring team and as a Managing Director at RBS/ABN leading a large fund linked structuring team.
