Sameeksha Chowla Bio

Sameeksha began her legal career with the firm and has since been extensively involved with advising leading international financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds and multinational corporations on their investments into India. Her transactional experience ranges from managing strategic mergers and acquisitions and joint venture matters to private equity and venture capital investments across the information technology, aviation, insurance, infrastructure and defence sectors. Over the years, Sameeksha has also regularly advised on varying aspects relating to the investment funds and platforms space, and has also led investments in among the first few GIFT City based master-feeder structures to be set up in India and the first subscription line financing secured by a GIFT City based fund. Sameeksha’s key clients include a GCC sovereign wealth fund, General Dynamics, Tencent, Meituan, AXA France, Horizons Ventures and Kotak Alts. According to the Resight India Report 2025, clients especially value her negotiation skills and praise her for being “always very prompt in advice / response”. Sameeksha also regularly contributes to i-Probono (which connects civil society organisations with lawyers) to provide legal assistance to Indian as well as overseas civil society organisations.
