Miroslav Fajt represents domestic and foreign lenders and companies in their financing, M&A, sales and development activities. He also structures joint ventures and partnerships to acquire and develop real estate projects, as well as complex financings such as convertible participating loans, sale/leaseback transactions and financing lease transactions. Mirek regularly works with developers, construction companies and architectural firms on the development and construction of retail, commercial and residential properties—as well as representing property owners and tenants in commercial, retail and ground leasing transactions. Mirek also advises foreign investors on their investments in real property in the United States, and lenders and financial institutions on the restructuring of troubled real estate loans and investments, the foreclosure of real estate properties, and the restructuring of equity, debt and ownership interests in financially distressed projects.
