Bio

Michael De Biase is a corporate transactional lawyer with a wide breadth of experience in the various areas of law that comprise a corporate transactional practice. Michael has experience with business technology, telecommunications, intellectual property, employment, securities, international trade, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Michael graduated from the University of Tampa, cum laude, with a degree in entrepreneurship, and helped to found the UT Entrepreneurs club. Michael went on to graduate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, where he was awarded the Larry S. Kalevitch Award for the Student Showing the Most Outstanding Promise in the Areas of Business and Bankruptcy Law. Michael focused his law school curriculum on practice specific classes including workshops and clinics in the areas of business law. Michael began his career at a large multi-national Florida based law firm where he was provided with unique experience and exposure to many different facets and areas of business law. Michael’s practice involves, among other things, devising corporate structures, organizing and forming entities, general corporate governance and housekeeping matters, managing relationships between co-founders and business partners, registering, licensing and protecting copyrights and trademark rights, navigating the capital raising and M&A processes, and acting as a trusted advisor and outside in-house counsel to various entities. In 2015, Michael was nominated as a Leader in Law by South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine.
