Philip Barratt is a partner in the Corporate team, acting on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on private equity transactions, acting for both private equity houses on executing their investments and managing their portfolio companies, as well as advising companies and management teams during new investments. Philip works with clients across a number of sectors and is able to draw on his significant practical experience gained spending time on secondment at AnaCap Financial Partners, a private equity fund, and CDC Group plc, the UK’s development finance institution. Philip is independently recognised in Chambers & Partners as an “Up and Coming” lawyer and has also been named as a “Next Generation Partner” in The Legal 500, with clients describing him as “an outstanding, commercially astute young partner” and "a rising star: bright, thorough, responsive and calm”.
