Scott Gibson is an experienced deal leader who practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and general corporate law. In addition to his law degree, Scott holds has a Bachelor of Science (Geology) and maintains a keen interest in all aspects of the resources sector. He has a wide range of experience in all forms of mergers and acquisitions (both public and private) as well as initial public offerings, secondary raisings and general corporate and ASX Listing Rule matters, across a range of sectors including energy and resources, engineering and mining services, life sciences and technology. Scott regularly advises clients on asset and tenement acquisitions and joint venture arrangements, as well as Foreign Investment Review Board matters. Scott also has significant experience and interest in all aspects of shareholder activism, and has led a substantial number of successful shareholder requisitioned meetings and Takeovers Panel applications. Scott's clients include international and domestic corporates, commodity traders, funds and individuals of influence.
