Don Grubman Bio

Don Grubman represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, business organization and general corporate matters. Over the course of his career, he has also developed a focus on the corporate and M&A aspects of bankruptcy. He works regularly with the firm’s bankruptcy practice group to structure and implement out-of-court workouts, reorganizations and asset sales in Chapter 11 cases. While sometimes closing down a company is a necessary strategic option, Don finds it rewarding when he is able to help companies come out on the other side through reorganization—sometimes in a different form, but with jobs and their fundamental purpose preserved. Don has spoken on panels for organizations such as the Practicing Law Institute, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys.
