Michael Stein Bio

Michael's clients are primarily financial investors and their portfolio companies as well as strategic investors from Germany and abroad. His practice includes the structuring, negotiation and implementation of complex corporate transactions (buy-side and sell-side, cross-border and domestic), including leveraged buyouts. He has particular expertise in advising on transactions in the highly regulated healthcare sector. Michael is described by his clients as “solution-oriented and pragmatic”. Clients also praise his extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector. He has published a number of articles on corporate law topics in professional journals and regularly lectures on private equity topics. He is co-author of the handbook on medical and healthcare law (Beck'sches Formularbuch Medizin- und Gesundheitsrecht). Michael Stein is co-head of the German Private Equity practice.
