Jeremy Hayden brings more than two decades of experience to his role as a proven advisor and advocate for his diverse corporate clients. A partner based in Taft’s Cincinnati office, Jeremy represents clients in sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax matters, and estate and succession planning. With clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, Jeremy has built a reputation as a go-to authority for businesses in need of sound guidance and strategic solutions. Jeremy promotes a team approach to client service as chair of Taft’s State and Local Tax practice and co-chair of the firm’s Food and Beverage industry group. He leads these groups in providing creative, efficient counsel to help businesses meet their most important objectives. Jeremy is recognized as a top practitioner in his field. He is consistently ranked in Band 1 among Ohio Tax attorneys by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. His tax and transactional expertise earns him annual recognition by Best Lawyers in America® and Cincy Magazine’s Leading Lawyers. Active in his profession and community, Jeremy is an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he teaches State and Local Taxation. A longtime nonprofit board leader, he currently serves on the boards of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky’s Brighton Center, and the Association for Corporate Growth Cincinnati. In addition, Jeremy is a frequent guest lecturer on trends in tax and corporate law. Prior to joining Taft, Jeremy was a partner at a national law firm. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, MSBA in taxation from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, and bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University.
