Alex’s practice focuses on domestic and international business and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, capital market transactions and general corporate and real estate matters. He regularly counsels clients in a broad range of transactional matters and assists in navigating many of their day-to-day legal challenges. His practice involves the representation of domestic and multinational companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, family offices, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, high-net worth individuals and other institutional and strategic investors in transactions throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as participated in a number of transactions throughout Europe. Whether helping a commercial bank with a corporate loan or corporate reorganization, assisting a start-up secure seed financing or representing multi-nationals in cross-border matters, Alex is committed to offering practical advice and building ongoing relationships that benefit and protect each client. Alex is a USA Chambers Legal Guide ranked Corporate/M&A & Private Equity attorney and is a 2012 and 2013 Super Lawyers Rising Star. He is a member of the Business Law Section of both the American Bar Association and Florida Bar, a member of the United Way of Miami-Dade Tocqueville Society and a United Way of Miami-Dade Young Leader. Alex also serves on the Board of Directors for the International Kids Fund, a non-profit program that helps critically ill children primarily from the Latin American and Caribbean regions gain immediate access to essential medical treatments that are unavailable in their home countries. Alex was recently recognized in a prominent Miami publication as one of the top 20 professionals in our community under 40, and was awarded the Area de Miami Super Lawyers recognition for 2015.
