Bio

Marco Tessera Chiesa is a co-founder and partner of Pavesio e Associati and previously was an Associate at Allen & Overy. He specializes in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of Italian and foreign commercial contracts (including share purchase, distribution and supply agreements). He has acquired extensive experience in drafting opinions and documents for litigation in the civil and commercial law areas and for arbitration proceedings. Marco Tessera Chiesa gained his J.D. degree summa cum laude from the University of Turin in 1997 and in 2001 an LL.M. with honours from the Northwestern University School of Law of Chicago (USA). He completed his trainee period at Tosetto, Weigmann e Associati. He is author of articles on corporate law published in Giurisprudenza Italiana. In September 2015 he was admitted to practice before the Corte di Cassazione (the Italian Supreme Court). He is a member of the Turin Bar and of the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats).
