Emiliano Rossi is a partner of Pavesio e Associati since 2017 and prior to this was “associato in partecipazione” (“salary partner”) since 2013. Emiliano Rossi assists Italian and foreign clients in corporate and commercial litigation. Emiliano also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts in different sectors, including M&A transactions and construction deals. In addition, he advises on bankruptcy matters and insolvency proceedings. His practice also covers trust and succession law. Moreover, Emiliano has acquired significant experience in Italian and international legislation governing trade and export of works of art and in tax legislation in relation to the ownership and transfer of cultural goods. He also advises on the tax benefits for private donations to museums and cultural institutions. He was an Associate at Allen & Overy from November 2000 to the end of 2006 and subsequently of Pavesio e Associati since 2007. Emiliano has published several articles on the legal aspect of the art market, the rules governing ownership and transfer of cultural goods, on patronage in the cultural field and on trust issues. Emiliano Rossi graduated with a J.D. degree magna cum laude from the University of Turin in 1999 and an LL.M. magna cum laude in comparative and European Community Law from the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands). He is a member of the Turin Bar.
