Paola has been working for over 25 years in corporate law, corporate contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and long-term incentives. For approximately the last 5 years, Paola has also dedicated herself to the area of personal data protection. Paola was responsible for the corporate legal department of a publicly traded Brazilian company for almost 10 years. She worked in the Primary Markets area of Standard New York Securities, Inc. (Standard Bank Group) in Miami, FL/New York, NY from June 2001 to April 2004, and also served as a visiting attorney from October 1999 to July 2000 at the law firm Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russel in Miami, FL. Paola also provides legal advice to various national and international companies on matters related to intellectual property and data protection.
