Samantha Horn is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups. Her practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financing. She is highly experienced both in investments and buyout transactions, with particular expertise concerning matters in the life sciences and technology sectors. She operates a market-leading transactional practice in the private equity space, covering a wide range of M&A and financing mandates, along with fund formation experience. Samantha is a former member of the Management Committee in the Toronto office and formerly served as Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups. She is a recipient of the 2017 Women’s Executive Network’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award in the “Hall of Fame” category and in the “KPMG Professionals” category (2014, 2015 and 2016), recognizing her significant impact to the legal profession and her leadership role within the firm.
