Guy Martel is a partner at Stikeman Elliott since 2002. He practices in the areas of corporate law, restructuring, distressed M&A, banking and private equity law. Guy specializes in corporate finance, reorganizations and restructuring with a strong focus on cross-border and international transactions. He has provided strategic advice in a large number of large-scale financings, re-financings, turn-arounds, restructurings, acquisitions and other transactions across many different industries. Guy routinely advises board of directors and management groups and is recognized as a leading cross-border corporate lawyer in Canada. He often appears before commercial courts across Canada and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada.
