IJsbrand Van Straten Bio

IJsbrand is a civil-law notary and has extensive experience in advising on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, cross-border mergers and other restructurings, capital market transactions, security rights, complex corporate structures, and corporate governance matters. He has a Master of Dutch and Notarial Law from the University of Amsterdam. IJsbrand also attended the Stibbe MBA Highlights Programme on corporate finance and business strategy, and completed the Postdoc Company and Corporate Law at Grotius Academy Nijmegen. IJsbrand worked at our New York office between 2000 and 2003 and at our London office from January 2014 to August 2019.
