Jason Yang is a partner at Virtus Law* who is recognised by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022 as a Recommended lawyer for banking and finance, corporate, labour and employment and restructuring and insolvency in Singapore, and also ranked as a Next generation partner for shipping in Singapore. Jason was also Listed as a name to know in Singapore by Global Restructuring Review in 2018. Jason's main practice areas are vessel finance and leasing, restructuring and insolvency and corporate law. Jason has acted for leading vessel finance banks, ship owners, lessors and operators in range of complex financing and sale and leaseback transactions. He also excels in advising banking clients and other creditors on the Singapore law aspects of asset recovery, restructuring and enforcement strategy and re-domiciliation. In addition, Jason has considerable experience advising on private mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, general corporate advisory, data protection and non-contentious employment law matters.
