Janice Yau Garton has extensive experience in real estate transactions (both locally and cross border), specialising in property investments and acting for institutional investors, funds, hospitality groups, retail brands, property developers, family offices, private equity firms and REITs. Janice is ranked as a Next Generation Partner for Real Estate (2022-2023) and Rising Star for Real Estate (2020 & 2021) in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific Hong Kong Guide, and a 'next generation lawyer' in its 2017-2019 editions. She is also ranked Band 4 for Real Estate in Chambers Greater China Region. Janice is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong and a solicitor and barrister in Ontario, Canada. Born in Vancouver, Janice was living in Australia before moving to Hong Kong in 2005.
