Bio

Matt Hawtin graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Laws. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA). Matt was appointed as a Partner in July 2012 and has over 15 years' experience providing corporate and commercial legal advice. Matt has a wide range of experience in commercial and corporate matters, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, energy and resources related matters, commercial drafting and compliance issues. Matt also specialises in financial services, including all aspects of Australian Financial Services Licensing (AFSL) and fund work.
