Marie Caruana Bio

Marie has an expertise in corporate law. She supports business leaders in all their creation, external growth and restructuring projects. She is very involved in the field of the Social and Solidarity Economy, in particular by supporting the transfer of companies into Scop or by being part of the ESS Commission of the Nantes Bar. After being sworn in in January 2006, Marie worked as an associate at RUBY-SONET law firm, providing both advice and litigation in various areas of law. In 2012, she founded the law firm Ruby-Caruana, dedicated to business law, in various sectors of activity and for companies of various sizes, then joined the General Confederation of Scops in 2018, where she became legal director. Marie has developed a competence and an appetite for Scops (cooperative production companies) and Scic (collective interest companies). She then joined KPMG Avocats in Nantes in 2022, as Associate Director in corporate law and finally decided, in September 2023, to create her own practice structure.
