Patrick Hart Bio

Patrick is an attorney focusing his practice on business law and mergers and acquisitions. Patrick is a cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law, where he was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Taxation of Individual Income. Patrick also served as an Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. Following his graduation from Gonzaga University School of Law, Patrick continued his studies at Georgetown University where he received a merit scholarship to complete a Masters of Laws in Taxation. During his time in Washington, DC, Patrick worked as a tax extern with KPMG during which time he further developed his tax law knowledge and skills. Patrick also represented taxpayers with respect to their tax matters before the IRS and US Tax Court during his time as a law clerk within the Gonzaga Federal Tax Law Clinic. Patrick’s practice focuses within various aspects of transactional law, primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, taxation, real estate transactions, corporate governance, and a wide array of general transactional work. In his mergers and acquisitions practice, Patrick assists clients throughout every stage of the transaction, from conducting due diligence to negotiating and structuring deals.
