Peter Rho is a Partner in the Corporate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. Mr. Rho has a 25-year career as a deal lawyer, advising U.S. and international clients on domestic and cross-border corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and outside general counsel matters. In his work as primary outside counsel to public and private companies and entrepreneurs, he serves clients in various sectors, including banking, lending, investment banking, venture capital, finance, technology, entertainment and media, real estate, and general commercial business. Mr. Rho’s experience in strategic management consulting and investment banking in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul, coupled with his MBA, enhances his practice as a cross-border deal attorney. He has extensive experience in the sourcing, structuring, and closing of deals in a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public and private structured finance, commercial real estate transactions, corporate formation and governance, music, film and television production, publishing, licensing, distribution, merchandising, sponsorships, and endorsements. Mr. Rho earned his J.D from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He received his MBA from Columbia Business School and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Rho is a member of the California Bar.
