Scott Sands Bio

Scott Sands is the Head of our Corporate Department. He advises individuals, OMBs, SMEs, and corporates on a wide range of corporate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, investments, employee share schemes, and family investment companies. In addition to corporate matters, Scott works closely with private client solicitors to provide structures and advice to assist individuals in growing their personal wealth, whether dealing with succession, creating tax-efficient structures, or providing general advice. Over the years, he has also developed expertise in advising charities and not-for-profit organisations on various issues, including corporate governance, incorporation (to avoid personal liability), and general advice. This extends to advising larger member organisations, including sports, social, professional, and motorsports organisations, as well as sports and golf clubs. Scott has also been recognised in the Manchester Legal Awards as a finalist for Corporate / Commercial Team of the Year.
