Scott Furman has a breadth of legal experience focusing on identification and implementation of solutions to complex environmental issues. Scott’s knowledge of and expertise in brownfield redevelopment programs, and similar voluntary cleanup programs, has enabled his clients to complete redevelopment and remediation projects in 15 different states. His work has brought him to nation- and world-wide matters, working on projects from New York City to Southeast Asia while representing individual clients, companies, and corporations. In addition to brownfield redevelopment work, Scott has a strong transactional practice and has guided his clients through the closing of a $12.3 billion acquisition and many transactions valued between $25 million and $750 million. With a business first focus, Scott identifies solutions to client issues that are sensitive to a client’s resources and objectives.
