Jerome Patenotte Bio

Jerome Patenotte is the head of the Paris Private Equity practice. He specialises in Merger & Acquisitions and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. He has developed a particular expertise in private equity with French mid-cap funds, he advises and helps capital investors, mezzanine lenders and management teams on their ventures, investments, transactions, buy-outs, IPOs and restructurings. He also advises a foreign, mainly American, client base that he built over the years, on all their corporate law aspects, and on their investments in France. Jérôme's activity also includes a substantial and increasing number of Tech transactions. He notably advises venture funds, business angels, start-ups during series A, B or C and regarding potential ICOs. Prior to joining Simmons & Simmons in 2019, Jérôme has worked in several French and international law firms and joined from Wragge & Co (now known as Gowling WLG) which he founded in April 2010 with nine other partners.
