Simonetta Giordano has wide-ranging expertise in transactions taking place in a regulated environment, such as HealthCare and Life Science, Financial Institutions, Energy and Infrastructure or Consumer Goods. Very committed in getting the deal through, she is particularly skilled at sorting out complex situations through efficient project management. Franco-Italian citizen, she is fluent in Italian but also in English and French and speaks Spanish. Simonetta is a partner in our Corporate group in Paris. She focuses on regulated industries, advising on transactional private M&A and joint ventures but also on complex corporate reorganisations and commercial contracts. Considering her international DNA, as she is Franco-Italian citizen and speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish, she is mainly involved in cross border transactions. She knows the HealthCare and Life Science sector inside out and helps both industrials and investors structuring their investment through the regulatory constraints of this industry, from healthcare services to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics or digital health. As a specialist of corporate reorganisations, she delivers large cross border projects for financial institutions and funds but also day to day matters including Brexit reorganisations. Simonetta also advises on corporate aspects of international projects, mainly in the power sector across the African continent. Passionate about understanding her clients’ industry, Simonetta has completed secondments to a global IT company and a French electric utility. She joined Simmons & Simmons in 2016 from a magic circle firm.
