David Hicks has expertise across the full range of asset management corporate and partnership matters, and across the wider financial services sector, particularly within wealth and investment management, fintech, digital assets and insurance. He advises clients within the sector on all aspects of their businesses, including M&A, start-ups, fundraising, restructuring, ownership arrangements and governance. David is an expert in both company and partnership law, and is a member of the Law Society’s Company Law Committee and ranked for his partnership expertise, having significant experience acting for LLPs and their members in relation to M&A, governance and ownership arrangements. He is also a member of the Quoted Companies Alliance Legal and Corporate Governance Expert Groups and has spoken and written on ESG and governance in particular, with a focus on regulated businesses. His public markets work includes fundraising, transactional and governance work for listed investment companies.
