Bio

Sara Carian is a partner in the M&A practice, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, stock and asset acquisitions and sales, carve-out transactions and cross-border transactions. Sara also advises clients on general corporate and governance matters. Sara represents strategic and private equity buyers and sellers and public and private companies. Sara clerked for the Honorable Ronald S. Prager of the superior Court of California, County of San Diego. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was a director of the Berkeley Queer Caucus and commentary editor for the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice. Sara graduated with a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from Williams College.
