Dr. Christian Zuleger is co-head of Sidley's European Corporate and Private Equity Group. He focuses on complex international M&A and private equity transactions. Over the last two decades, he has lead numerous high-profile deals. As in the previous edition (2020), Christian is currently ranked among the "best lawyers" by Handelsblatt Best Lawyers 2021 for private equity, M&A and corporate law. He has also been recognized as a leading private equity lawyer in Germany by Chambers Europe. In the 2019/2020 edition of the JUVE Handbook, Christian was recognized as “Often Recommended” in M&A and Private Equity. Commentators described him as “extremely prudent” and “one of the strongest Mid-Cap lawyers in Munich.” Prior to joining Sidley in 2017, Christian was a partner in the corporate practice of another international law firm. He is fluent in German and English.
