Beth Berg has over 23 years of experience advising public and privately held companies and boards of directors with respect to public and private mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, corporate governance and SEC disclosure matters. In addition, Beth has an active practice advising companies in connection with shareholder activism, proxy contests and unsolicited tender offers/takeover defense. Beth stands out for the breadth of her experience and versatility in an era of increasing specialization. She has a talent for presenting complicated matters simply and succinctly and prides herself on taking a practical approach as she guides clients through their most complex M&A, shareholder activism, and other challenges. Beth has been recognized nationally for her work. She was noted as a key lawyer in the firm’s Tier 1 ranking for Shareholder Activism in The Legal 500 2023 United States edition. She was named to The Deal’s 2022 “Women in Dealmaking” list in May 2022 and The Dealmaker Quarterly’s annual “Top Women in Dealmaking” list in January 2021.
