Anthony Norris Bio

Anthony Norris represents private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, and their portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, restructurings, and general corporate matters. He has extensive experience with leveraged buyouts and minority investments, and frequently counsels clients on a variety of securities law, corporate governance, and strategic matters. In addition, Anthony has substantial experience with investments by sovereign wealth funds that are subject to review by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Anthony has been recognized for his work in M&A and private equity by IFLR1000 (2019-2020). Prior to joining Sidley, Anthony was a partner at another global law firm.
