John Hitchings Bio

John Hitchings is a member of the Firm's Litigation and Broker-Dealer Regulation Practice Groups. John handles a variety of commercial litigation matters in state and federal court, including those with a particular emphasis on the financial services industry, and regularly appears before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in all phases of customer and industry arbitration proceedings. John also advises clients in connection with employment matters, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and enforcement proceedings, and he prepares clients for trial examinations, depositions, and other “on-the-record” testimony. John has been consecutively selected as a “New York Metro Rising Star" by Thomson Reuter's Super Lawyers Magazine for the years 2014-2020. For context, no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the region receive this honor.
