Cyrus Abbassi is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's New York office and member of the Private Equity and Healthcare Industry teams. Cyrus is widely recognized for his technical proficiency, creative solutions and sophisticated negotiation strategies in leading a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, divestitures and joint ventures with an emphasis on health care, professional services and other regulated industry transactions. Among other milestones, he is noted for leading his clients through multiple $1B+ sale events. His regular clients include private equity funds, portfolio companies, independent sponsors, entrepreneurs, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers and other facilities, health systems, managed care organizations, management services organizations, and veterinary platforms. Cyrus is particularly recognized for having a nationally prominent ambulatory surgery center and private equity/strategic joint venture practice with a focus on ASC-oriented specialties like ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopaedic surgery and dermatology.
