Michael Squirrell Bio

Michael is a corporate lawyer who brings clients’ goals to the fore, understanding their objectives and meeting their aims in a thorough, timely and pragmatic manner. Michael acts for privately-held companies, SMEs and high-net worth individuals and also counts major international businesses in his client base. He thrives on assisting businesses from start-up to exit. With experience in a broad range of sectors, he has a particular interest in IP-rich businesses operating in – for example – the MedTech, Engineering and Digital spaces. Michael has extensive experience of mergers & acquisitions, reorganisations, fundraising and investments. His practice also encompasses advising boards and shareholders on governance matters. Based in the firm’s Lincoln office, he supports a number of businesses across the wider East Midlands region, as well as nationally and internationally, working as part of Shakespeare Martineau’s Corporate team.
