Bio

Morgan Jones financing practice includes the origination, as well as the restructuring and enforcement, of all types of commercial real property secured loans (including acquisition loans, construction loans, and mini-permanent and permanent loans) and all types of security properties (including multi-family and affordable housing projects, residential tract developments, shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, industrial properties, hospitals and health care facilities and agricultural properties), and all types of corporate, dealer finance, and agricultural loans. His practice ranges from syndicated and participated loans, whole loan sales, buy-sell and tri-party agreements, low income housing tax credit loans and public finance, equity participation loans, leasehold mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, mortgage warehousing lines of credit, and multi-state transactions to representation of lenders with high-volume commercial real estate lending programs. Morgan represents lenders in managing REO, sales of REO, and loan sales and in connection with lender liability issues. Morgan also represents banks as purchasers of bonds in direct purchase or private placement transactions and has extensive experience representing issuers of letters of credit as credit support for bonds. Morgan has represented numerous borrowers in the origination, assignment and defeasance of CMBS loans and in mezzanine loans. Morgan's real estate practice has included the entire spectrum of services for developers, investors and corporate real estate users. Morgan is a frequent speaker on various topics involving corporate loans, commercial real estate loans and workouts and loan enforcement.
