Utilizing process standardization, technology and project management tools, Colleen Kelly Gomos and her team provide legal support to clients ranging from specialty lenders to multinational corporations with high volumes of transactional, commercial and technology contract work streams. Colleen actively counsels and represents lenders in various types of commercial finance transactions, such as asset-based, receivables-based, and cash flow loan transactions, syndications, loan acquisitions, participations and workouts of credit facilities, with a specific focus on the health care industry. In addition, Colleen has served as borrower and guarantor counsel for health care, educational, and cultural institutions in connection with numerous tax-exempt financings. Colleen also acts as outside counsel to businesses across a broad range of industries, including not-for-profits, and has advised clients on acquisitions of distressed businesses, commercial transactions and compliance. Colleen is the vice chair of the Chicago Corporate department and a member of firm’s the Lawyer Development Committee. Prior to entering private practice, Colleen served as the law clerk to the Honorable Susan V. Kelley of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
