Hospitals, physician groups, pharmacies, post-acute providers, and independent diagnostic facilities turn to Chris for guidance on a number of matters. His clients must comply with state and federal health care statutes and regulations regarding fraud and abuse, patient information privacy, licensing, and reimbursement. They must structure legally compliant business transactions in the health care sector. In some instances, they also face litigation from state and federal governments, business associates and competitors, and patients. Chris helps his clients with these challenges and opportunities by learning and understanding their business first. From there, he advises on legal requirements and legal risk, develops innovative approaches, advises on opportunities arising from an ever-changing legal landscape, and collaborates to arrive at efficient solutions. To serve his clients, Chris draws upon his unique perspective, qualifications, and experience. His extensive work in litigation, compliance, and transactions allows him to advise clients from a multifaceted perspective. Additionally, Chris's experience working as an in-house attorney allows him to see matters from his clients' perspective. For the first half of his career, Chris focused on litigation, trying personal injury and commercial litigation cases throughout the state before transitioning to operations, compliance, and transactions. This well-rounded perspective helps him advise clients through all facets of their business, or just a particular matter. Chis is proud to be part of a global team of industry leaders at Seyfarth, who gladly collaborate to solve clients' problems.
