Peter A. Marra is Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney. He has extensive experience representing hospitals, healthcare entities, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals in a variety of matters including professional malpractice, breach of contract, managed care contract and claims issues, policies and procedures, physician credentialing and privileges, HIPAA, antitrust and RICO. He also represents businesses and individuals in matters involving significant personal injuries, fraud, products liability, insurance coverage, estate and fiduciary litigation (will contests) and defense of governmental entities. Mr. Marra has been approved by the New Jersey Superior Court as a Rule 1:40 Mediator. He also acts as a private mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Marra was selected to the 2008 through 2012 New Jersey Rising Stars® * list, featured in New Jersey Monthly magazine, in the field of Health Care. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Health and Hospital Law Sections. Early in his career, Mr. Marra was a judicial clerk for the Honorable James J. Petrella, Presiding Judge for the Appellate Division; a judicial intern for the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey; and an assistant to State Senator Robert J. Martin.
