Cynthia Flanagan co-chairs Schenck Price's Labor and Employment Practice Group and represents corporations, government entities and individuals in various matters involving employment law and general business counseling. As a management-side attorney, Cynthia advises business managers on day-to-day employment law issues, personnel management and workforce structure, compensation, termination and leave issues. Cynthia also assists businesses with risk management reviews and she provides general business counseling, structuring entities, business governance, and assists business in acquiring, developing, leasing, repositioning, managing, financing and disposing of real estate. In addition to serving the firm’s business clients, Cynthia has extensive experience representing hospitals, healthcare entities, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals in a variety of matters including professional malpractice, breach of contract, managed care contract and claims issues, and policies and procedures. She also represents businesses and individuals in matters involving fraud, insurance coverage, and defense of governmental entities. In addition, Cynthia contributes her experience to writing articles for publications including New Jersey Lawyer Magazine and New Jersey Law Journal. Topics have included insurance fraud and construction lien law revisions. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) Construction Law Section and also chairs NJSBA’s Diversity Committee.
